Meg EvansOctober 6, 2026Forever Fortunate Felines is a superior rescue organization and I can't imagine adopting from anyone else. This is the second pair of kitties we've adopted from them -- these two are Daisy and Finn and they are super adorable and sweet! It's taking time to introduce our resident cat, Luna, to these babies but with patience it will happen. FFF carefully and thoroughly vets prospective adoptees, and their fosters provide wonderfully detailed descriptions of each kitty's personality, which is super helpful when adoption events are far from where we live. We attempted adopting from a private Evanston rescue org, but frankly they can't hold a candle to FFF; I'm not sure they checked our references or required the resident cat to be vaccinated or anything that ensures safe and thoughtful adoptions for everyone involved. We are *much* happier having our adoption dollars go to support FFF, and highly recommend them. (And someday I plan to volunteer with them, too!)+2
