Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Raya
Raya's story in her own words! My name is Raya, and I may be a bit shy at first, but I have a heart of gold waiting to find my forever home. I'm still learning to trust humans and while I prefer to keep my distance, I don't mind a gentle pet now and then. My favorite things in the world are Churu treats and playing with wand toys — I'm a skilled toy hunter if I do say so myself. I'm a calm presence in the midst of all the action. One of my foster's favorite memories of me is how I stand up and beg for treats or food. Sometimes I scratch at the bedroom door as well. I don't always trust people so I might back away when my wish is granted, but hey, at least I got what I wanted. I've lived with other cats for a long time and can usually get along with most of them. Cats are better than people, if you ask me. Right now, I prefer a quiet household where I can continue to build my confidence at my own pace. I'm not quite ready for children or dogs in the home, but who knows what the future holds for me? If you're looking for a feline friend who enjoys quiet moments and the thrill of the hunt, I just might be the perfect match for you.
