All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Dewey
Meet Dewey – The Sleepy-Eyed Snugglebug Who Lives for Cozy Moments 😴🐾💙 With his soft, gentle expression that always makes him look just a little sleepy (or grumpy), Dewey is the definition of a cuddle companion. His adorable face might give off “sad boy” vibes, but don’t be fooled—this sweet kitten is perfectly content, especially when he’s curled up next to his favorite person. Dewey is all about the simple joys in life: warm naps, soft pets, and being as close to you as possible. Dewey would do well in just about any loving home, as long as there’s plenty of affection and a cozy spot (or ten) for him to nap. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and, because he’s still very young, he must be adopted into a home with another kitty friend for companionship and socialization. He would be thrilled to go home with one of his siblings—Deuce, Darla, Dixie, Dahlia, Dingo, or Dart —or his cousin Dobby. He hasn’t yet been around children or dogs, but he is easygoing and adaptable, so he would likely do well with both given a proper introduction. Dewey is part of a truly special family. He and his six siblings are being raised by not one, but two devoted mama cats—his mom Daisy and her best friend and co-parent, Delilah. Along with their cousin, he’s grown up in a home full of love, companionship, and playful chaos. While his siblings may be the more energetic bunch, Dewey is perfectly happy letting them do the zooming while he supervises from a comfy spot nearby. This laid-back little guy does enjoy playtime, but in true Dewey fashion, he prefers to keep things a bit more low-key. He’ll happily join in for some gentle fun, but his heart truly belongs to nap time and cuddle time. If there’s a lap available, he’s already on his way. He loves being pet and will melt right into you, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm, affectionate kitten. Dewey’s sweet, easygoing nature makes him such a comforting presence. He’s the kind of cat who will quietly keep you company, curl up beside you after a long day, and remind you to slow down and enjoy the moment. And that sleepy little face? It just makes him all the more irresistible.
