Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Sugar
Sugar is sweet and nice with just a hint of spice 🌶️ . As a young cat, Sugar has had to battle for her life one too many times. Being on the streets for an unknown period of time then coming into CACC with multiple facial infections and injuries 🤕, FFF stepped up to give her a chance. A few months later, she is all healed and ready for some lovin'! Sugar absolutely LOVES to talk 🗣️! Chirps, grumbles, meows and all the noises in between, Sugar almost never stops chatting with her foster parent, constantly following them around. With all that talking, any sudden noises or lack of attention, and Sugar will make sure you know about it! She makes the sweetest meows when you bring food out 🍗, and will bump her head against your hand for pets . While Sugar has been with her foster, it was discovered that she is terrified of other animals, even kittens, so she would appreciate a home where she can be the one and only cat. While she may be a bit hissy at first, it only takes some food and catnip toys to bring out her sweet side 🍭. She would do well with older, respectful kids and dogs who understand her boundaries and give her both the love and space she needs to be happiest. Sugar loves head and cheek scritches and will purr so loud you'll feel it throughout the room. Sugar absolutely LOVES snuggling, her soft fur makes it easy, and while she snuggles on your lap, she will purr and suckle on her tail just like the kitten she is 🥰.
