Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Camila (Hoodie)
Meet Camila—the beautiful little force of nature who is learning that people can be pretty great after all! 🤎🐾 With her gorgeous white-and-brown tabby coat and bright, curious eyes, Camila is a special girl who has already come such a long way. After being rescued from the isolation room at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) while battling an illness, she is now healthy, feeling great, and getting the chance to discover what life in a loving home is all about. Camila is an independent, cautious girl who needs a little time before deciding that someone has earned her trust. She may not be the kitten who immediately climbs into your lap—and she’ll definitely let you know when she’s had enough!—but underneath that tough little exterior is a curious girl who wants to be part of what’s going on. Once she begins to feel safe with you, she’ll follow you around, stay close by, and even allow some gentle affection. Watching her confidence grow and earning those little moments of trust makes them that much more special. 💕 Because Camila is still learning to trust people, she needs a patient, understanding home with another friendly, playful kitty who can help show her the ropes. Her foster siblings, Higgins and Amy, are also available for adoption and would make wonderful potential companions! Whether she heads home with one of them or joins another friendly young cat, having a feline friend will give Camila companionship while she continues building confidence with her humans. 🐱💕 Camila isn't looking for someone to rush her—she's looking for someone willing to meet her where she is and celebrate every little step forward.
