Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Wave
Meet Wave – The sweet, bright spirit who keeps everyone smiling! This handsome boy is equal parts athlete, entertainer and cuddle bug. Whether he's launching into a lightning-fast round of the zoomies, chasing a feather wand or happily soaking up pets from his favorite humans, Wave greets every day with enthusiasm. Found fending for himself as a stray alongside his brother, Pine, Wave has never let his difficult beginning dim his bright spirit. Instead, he's grown into a confident, affectionate social butterfly who genuinely loves people. Children? Great! Adults? Wonderful! Other cats and even dogs? He's happy to make friends with just about everyone. When playtime rolls around, Wave is all in. Feather toys, tiny balls, laser pointers—you name it, he's ready for action. And just when you think you've figured him out, he'll surprise you with one of his favorite quirks: He actually likes water! He'll keep a close eye on a faucet stream, dip his paws in his water bowl and even check out the shower right after it's been used. Just more reasons this sweet boy keeps everyone smiling. When the excitement winds down, Wave is an affectionate companion who adores being petted and spending time with his family. His purrs come easily, his little chirps and happy noises make everyday moments more fun, and he's always ready to remind you just how much he appreciates being loved. Most importantly, Wave shares an extraordinary bond with his brother, Pine. They wrestle, chase, nap and keep each other endlessly entertained, making them the perfect pair for a family looking for twice the fun and twice the love. Together they're surprisingly easygoing for young kitties because they happily burn off their energy playing with each other. These two brothers are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. ❤️ Wave and Pine are searching for an active home where they'll have plenty of toys, lots of attention and, most importantly, each other.
