Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Makoa
Meet Makoa! Don’t be fooled by his adorable face, the beautiful markings on his ears, or his pretty coloring. Makoa is definitely planning a sneak attack on something nearby - shoelaces, the litter scoop, fingers, anything that might be a threat to you or his siblings. Makoa is a very active, playful kitten . He lives by the saying “be prepared”. Makoa is always ready to attack your foot vs. laying on your lap. He loves wrestling with his brothers and attacking wand toys. If you’re not careful he will also playfully bite fingers and toes because, one never knows when fingers and toes could pose a real threat! Makoa is incredibly curious. He wants to be involved in everything, if not to just attack inanimate objects to double check if they’re one of his toys. Even though he is a very active kitten, he still likes to be given love and cuddles. He isn’t one to refuse pats or ear scratches when they’re being handed out. He’s also a fantastic eater, so you will never have to worry on that front. Makoa **must be adopted into a home with another young friendly cat** so he can continue developing his social skills and have a playmate to help burn off all that kitten energy. He would love to be adopted with one of his brothers- Pika, Nalu, Keanu, or Kahuna. Can you provide him with the love and playmates he craves? Yes? Take Makoa home today!
