Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

💙 Helm
The Defense of Helm's Deep (Against Absolutely Nothing). Meet Helm, keeper of the peace, defender of the realm, and arguably the most reasonable member of his very unreasonable little fellowship. Named after the legendary Helm's Deep, this handsome little fellow is slightly more laid-back than his brothers. And we do mean slightly. He's still a kitten, after all, and has a very important schedule of climbing, exploring, wrestling, and participating in battles that appear to have no clear objective. Helm is also an exceptionally handsome little gentleman, with a gorgeous, richly colored tabby coat. His dark brown markings have an almost smoky, grayish quality that makes him stand out from the crowd. He's a striking little fellow, and he knows how to make an impression. Having been raised in foster care since birth, Helm is wonderfully friendly, affectionate, and people-loving. He's spent his entire life being adored, doted on, and spoiled absolutely rotten by his foster humans. As far as Helm is concerned, this is simply the standard of living to which he is accustomed, and he sees absolutely no reason for that to change. And while Helm's Deep may have been built to withstand a siege, this Helm has absolutely no defenses against a good cuddle. Of course, even the most reasonable member of the fellowship needs a companion. Helm must be adopted with one of his brothers, Bree or Rohan, or into a home with another young, playful cat who can join him on his adventures. Helm has also had a lovely experience meeting an eight-year-old and could do well in a home with children who are patient, gentle, and understand that animals deserve their own space and boundaries. No armies to defeat. No kingdoms to save. Just a sweet, ridiculously handsome little kitten looking for a home worth defending, with humans who understand that he's accustomed to being treated like royalty.
