Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Sherbet
Meet Sherbet: The Sweetest Treat Sherbet is every bit as sweet and colorful as his name; a true lap cat with soft, cream and orange creamsicle fur. He is a loving companion who will sweetly meow to let you know when he would like to be picked up and cuddled and will reward you with purrs and chirps of contentment. Sherbet enjoys playtime as well, leaping up for wand toys and pouncing on toy mice and birds (check out his video to see him in action!). He is known for being a speed racer, running through the house at top speed when he gets the zoomies. This little guy also enjoys watching nature videos for cats and will happily keep himself occupied between snuggle sessions. This precious kitten has proven to be resilient and adaptable to a variety of environments and has brought a great deal of joy to his foster family. He has a kind and pleasant nature, and yearns for nothing more than to be held, nuzzled, and petted while he purrs softly in your ear. Sherbet will thrive in a home that offers him plenty of love and affection. Because he is still so young, he must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat to continue to grow his social skills and burn off all that kitten energy. Sherbet will draw you in with his deep, soulful eyes and adorable face, will warm your heart with all the love he has to offer, and will amuse you with his silly kitten antics.
