All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Señor Chester
Meet Señor Chester: Get Your Free Hugs Here! Señor Chester has many amazing qualities, and first among them are the hugs his foster mom says he gives freely and often, and everyone who gets a Señor Chester hug considers themselves very lucky indeed. This sweet kitty loves all kinds of affection. In addition to hugs, his signature move is lying on your chest, gently caressing your face with his cheek. He never tires of pets, chin scratches, ear rubs, kisses, and snuggles. This boy is a true cuddlebug. Further adding to his charm, he has the most adorable meow that morphs into a little pigeon coo. Of course, a kitty needs plenty of rest, and Señor Chester excels at binge napping. He is expert in the art of relaxation, and perhaps should open a kitty spa and teach other cats how to be chill. Señor Chester is curious about the world around him, and between naps he enjoys sitting in a sunny window watching the birdies and the squirrels. He wants sharp vision to see all the interesting things outside, but his eyes sometimes get a little teary, and he appreciates his human giving them a quick gentle cleaning. While Señor Chester loves plenty of attention, he has proven to be adaptable and content to be independent during the day while eagerly waiting for his human to return home and give him all the affection he craves. With his loving and gentle nature, Señor Chester would likely do well with respectful children, and other pets. He would also likely be fine as an only pet. Señor Chester is so easy to love-freely offering all he has to give-an adorable face, sweet demeanor, all the hugs, cuddles, and kisses in the world, and a heart of gold. He will thrive with humans who give him plenty of love and also soak up all the love he has to give in return. This special boy is eager to show off all of his wonderful qualities when he settles with his forever people in his forever home.
