Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Dutchess
Meet Dutchess! Dutchess is proper, gentle, and oh so high class. Her ticked silver tabby coat immediately tells you this little lady is 100% regal sophistication. She expects all her doors to be opened for her, her meals to be served on time, and when she wants pats, those are to be given non-stop. Dutchess might look a little standoff-ish from afar, but that’s just a trick she uses to weed out the unworthy. Don’t let her RBF fool you- she is the most affectionate kitty you will ever come across. Her spring green marble eyes will stare at you requesting you come closer and begin the pats. And once you start she won’t ever want you to stop. Dutchess will stick to you like glue, twirling like a trained ballerina making sure you give her proper pats and scratchies on all sides. Chin scratches are her favorite, just promise not to tell her I told you- ladies aren’t supposed to share each other’s secrets. Speaking of sharing secrets, Dutchess won’t gossip the day away with you (though she will listen). Just like any lady of high breeding, she has enough tact to know when to not say anything. She will give you the most etiquette filled soft meow when she is hungry. And that’s about it. She will keep her opinions to herself on all other things, so don’t worry about her spilling your secrets to the neighbors. In her foster home, Dutchess has been happily living with a beautiful orange boy the same age as her. They get along extremely well and she will clearly do well in a home with another cat. She may also thrive as a solo cat , enjoying being the center of attention. Although not a super playful cat at the moment, Dutchess's playful side may emerge once she settles into her forever home. In foster care, she has shown a preference for a quieter environment. Dutchess values companionship and will flourish in a calm, loving household where she can truly shine.
