Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations
All FFF cats are spayed or neutered before adoption. After adoption, you are responsible for your cat’s ongoing veterinary care, including any remaining vaccinations and future boosters. FFF does not provide vaccinations after adoption. Please review your cat’s medical records with your veterinarian to schedule follow-up care.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a fully foster-based cat rescue serving Chicagoland. Visits take place in foster homes or at participating cat cafés, Petco stores and PetSmart stores. Check each cat’s listing and coordinate with our adoption team for the meeting location and arrangements. FFF does not operate a central walk-in shelter.

Alaska
He's majestic, mellow and guaranteed to make your heart melt! Meet Alaska, a gentle, handsome, chonky boy with a delicious tummy and sweet spirit. This chill yet social kitty loves spending time with his people, following them around in pursuit of pets or his absolute favorite: belly rubs. And after that, how about getting brushed, please? Alaska also enjoys lounging by the window and watching the world go by. And while he can be a little shy, he's curious when introduced to new toys and is all in when it comes to working out on the scratching post. His superpower? Winning over even the most devoted non-cat people. Alaska is simply too much of a charming lovebug to resist! Alaska would do best in a home with attentive adults (and maybe older children), providing a nice balance of household activity and peaceful downtime. In addition to together time, he also enjoys having some independence. Because he was previously allowed outdoors and is clever enough to open a partially open window, his forever family will need to be especially mindful of open windows and doors. Alaska has enjoyed hanging out with other kitties in foster care, and would do well with a feline friend -- or he could also be perfectly content as your adored one-and-only.
