Michela Onesti is our President of Forever Fortunate Felines.  Michela is passionate about cat rescue and is inspired by the legacy of Giles, her lost cat.  Many years ago, Michela lost her cat Giles who wandered off one night.  Michela searched high and low and during her search, she visited many high kill shelters such as Chicago Animal Care and Control.  When Michela saw the dire and urgent needs of all of these wonderful cats who were in danger of being euthanized, she founded Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.

Michela has now rescued hundreds of cats from high kill shelters including shelters from Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Chicago Animal Care and Control.  Michela is happy to see these cats in desperate need to find their fur-ever home!
