Found a cat(s)?

If you have found a friendly cat without tags or a collar, please first take steps to try and reconnect the animal with its owner. Our friends at PAWS Chicago have an extensive guide on how to help.

If you have determined that the cat is a stray (unchipped and/or owner cannot be located) and would like to help find it a home through Forever Fortunate Felines, please submit our STRAY SURRENDER FORM. 

Do bear in mind that we are a 100% foster-based, volunteer-run organization. As such, our response times for surrender requests may take up to a week and a major determinant of our ability to help is finding an available foster home.

Rehoming a cat adopted from a shelter?

If you are surrendering an animal that was originally adopted by an Illinois-based Shelter or Rescue, you must surrender the animal back to the original shelter per Illinois State regulations.

If you adopted a cat from Forever Fortunate Felines and are surrendering the animal back to us, please submit our OWNER SURRENDER FORM.
